Tricks to avoid high prices of Treats!

While most of our friends are in Jacksonville at the BIGGEST COCKTAIL PARTY in the SOUTH, my boyfriend and I are saving money because we are BUYING A HOUSE! While I am excited about our house it definitely takes some of our fun activities and throws them right down the drain. Since we felt we were missing out on the fun we created our own by having a STAYCATION! What is a staycation you ask? It is a borrowed term from my ZTA Sister, Lisa Dibitetto (here is her blog) where you make your own vacation at home spending as little money as possible.

We decided to stay in, cook dinner together and watch the movie "The Change Up" while drinking some delicious wine and beer!


We love the FLEA MARKET! It is by far the cheapest fun you could ever have. So thats exactly what we did, cheap fun at the Flea Market. We got our pumpkin there for only $9. At publix they ranged from $15-30 dollars because of the high demand for decent looking pumpkins this year. In case you didn't know PUMPKINS went up 60 times in price this year from last year. CRAZY RIDICULOUSNESS!

Nightmares of a Blonde

You know those nightmares that are so real you sit straight up in bed looking around in a state of PANIC...That was me last night. I had a horrible nightmare that my Golden Retriever and I got into a car accident and he was ejected from the car and DIED! I woke up with tears streaming down my face, jumped out of bed and ran to my baby on his bed to make sure he was ok. Even during the dream I knew it wasn't real but I couldn't wake up from it and it was just terrible.

Look at the PRECIOUS little baby! You'd be crying too.

When I went to check on him we was SOUND ASLEEP! He's such a loyal boy that he woke up as soon as he realized I was crying and started licking me and giving me his paw as to let me know

"I don't know why your upset but it's ok Mom, don't cry"
